The Florence Community Band has had a number of Directors during its rich history.

Dave Webber began his tenure as the Director of the Florence Community Band on January 9, 2017.
Dave retired in 2014 after 24 years as the Director of Bands at Boone County High School in Florence, Ky. Prior to that, he was the Director of Bands for 8 years at Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Ky.
Dave has been an extremely active member of KMEA over the years and has received several honors and awards over his career:
Dave has conducted Honor Bands throughout Kentucky and Ohio and has extensive judging experience in marching band and concert band venues.
Marching Bands, under his direction, participated in 8 Regional Final Championships in Bands of America and received the Kentucky Governors Cup at the Contest of Champions in Murfreesboro, TN. His 1997 marching band was a Class AAAA State Finalist at the Kentucky Marching Band Championships.
Dave currently teaches Band and Orchestra at Covington Latin School in Covington, Ky and was the Interim Director of Symphonic Winds at Northern Kentucky University for the 2018-2019 school year
Dave has been married to his wife, Betty, for 39 years and has 2 children, Katie and Allie. Katie is married to Will French and they live in Indianapolis, IN.
